Abstract
In this study, we propose an analytical method to determine the realiz ation of boundary conditions in the vibration analysis of plates. Base d on modal testing analysis, the plates possessing different degrees o f elastic restraints along the edges are simulated correctly. Moreover , analytical results correlating with results from related literature confirm the transient dynamic response of a square plane under blast l oading. (C) 1998 The Franklin Institute.
