Abstract
High-order polarization and transverse modes of one-step metal-organic vapor-phase epitaxy (MOVPE)-grown vertical-cavity surface-emitting la ser (VCSEL) diodes are investigated. We find radially symmetric multip ole transverse modes with a fixed polarization state parallel to a [11 0] crystal axis under room temperature CW conditions.
