Abstract
The use of a facility in the World Wide Web for the confirmation of ca ndidate near-earth objects (NEOs) is described. This facility allows u sers to derive topocentric ephemerides of objects recorded on only a s ingle night. The facility is operated by the Minor Planet Center, whic h subsequently distributes more detailed information by e-mail to its subscribers if and when an object is confirmed as an NEO.
