Abstract
Antenatal haemolysis in association with ABO incompatibility occurs ve ry rarely. Two cases of hydrops fetalis in black infants caused by ant i-B haemolysins are reported. The greater severity of ABO incompatibil ity in black African peoples may have important implications for antib ody screening in this ethnic group.
