The density rho and the dynamic viscosity eta of the ternary mixture h
eptane + methylcyclohexane + 1-methylnaphtalene were measured at 303.1
5, 323.15 and 343.15 K at atmospheric pressure for molar fractions x(i
) = 0, 0.125, 0.25, 0.375, 0.5, 0.625, 0.75, 0.875 and 1 (with Sigma(i
=1)(3) x(i) = 1). The experimental data for eta and rho (135 values) c
an be used to evaluate the excess volume V-E and the excess energy of
activation for viscous flow Delta G(E). The density is modelled over t
he entire experimental domain of composition and temperature with an a
bsolute average deviation of 0.03% and the dynamic viscosity with an a
bsolute average deviation of 0.7%.
