Abstract
The genus Actinobolus Westwood is revised : 3 species (A. alvarengai, sp. n., A. pilosus, sp. n., A. spiniformis, sp. n.) are described;A. t alpipes Ohaus, 1915 is synonymized with A. radians Westwood 1841; an i dentification key, revised diagrams of systematic characteristics and distribution maps are provided. A phylogenetic study, based an cladist ics, enables to discuss the main characteristics of the 8 species and to present a phylogenetic essay of the genus. A review of the main bio logical data establishes the association of the group with termitories .
