Abstract
We calculate the thermodynamic potential of the quark-gluon plasma in an SU(2) model of QCD, taking into account the gluon condensate config uration with a constant A(4)-potential and a uniform chromomagnetic fi eld H. Within this scheme the interplay of condensate fields, as well as the role of quarks in the possible dynamical stabilization of the s ystem is investigated.
