PNEUMOCYSTOSIS - A RARE DISEASE IN TUNISI A

Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, an opportunistic disease, is frequent in North America and Europe. However, it is much less common in Africa n countries. The authors report their experience with two groups of Tu nisian patients: one group infected by HIV and the other one immunodep ressed but not HIV infected. Infection rate reached 10.3 % for the fir st soup and 5 % for the second one.
