Abstract
The wood of Dysoxylum schiffneri (Meliaceae) has yielded the known (+) -8-hydroxycalamenene, the novel sesquiterpenoid, schiffnerone A (1,5-d ihydroxy-1,3,5-bisabolatrien-10-one) and the novel trisnorsesquiterpen oid, schiffnerone B (2-hydroxy-11,12,13-trinor-7-calamenone).
