The distribution of components in the water-salt systems NaCl-H2O, NaI
-H2O, NaIO3-H2O, NaI-NaIO3-H2O has been studied in the case of crystal
lization and melting of ice in them. A model is proposed for evaluatin
g the conditions of encapsulation by the crystallizing ice of the comp
onents of the initial solution and the type of their distribution in i
ce ingots. The effect of selective accumulation of the NaIO3 salt in i
ce is observed in the system NaI-NaIO3-H2O.
