Abstract
Rosin-terpene-maleic resins were prepared from an intermediate product of rosin and turpentine production, crude turpentine, in the presence of LiI, NaI, and KI as catalysts. The optimum synthesis conditions we re determined, and the physicochemical properties of the resins were s tudied.
