Abstract
Data on 184 deaths from pesticide poisonings that occurred in Spain fr om 1991 to 1996 have been collated via a survey from the National Inst itute of Toxicology, Sevilla. Organophosphates and carbamates accounte d for the majority of the cases. Other substances involved were organo chlorines such as endosulfan and the herbicide paraquat.
