The noise-associated dynamical behavior of a periodically driven nonli
near diode resonator system is presented. Several counter-intuitive fe
atures, such as noise-induced order and stochastic suppression of chao
s, are experimentally identified. These features are uniquely induced
by the multiplicative dynamical noise rather than by the additive dyna
mical noise. The novel connections between multiplicative dynamical no
ise, noise-induced linearisation and coherence resonance are shown.
