Abstract
New sesquiterpenoids with 4,5-secoeudesmane and cyperolone carbon skel etons were isolated from Cyperus rotundus, and characterized by spectr oscopic analysis. The structures were confirmed by synthesis from (+)- dihydrocarvone and (+)-cyperolone. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Scie nce Ltd. All rights reserved.
