Abstract
Reductive elimination of alpha-alkynyl substituted zirconacyclopentene s, prepared from diaryldiynes and Cp2ZrEt2, proceeded upon heating or in the presence of dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate to give alkynylcycl obutene derivatives.
