Abstract
The compound [(CH3)(3)CNH3](4)[SiMo12O40] . 2H(2)O has been synthesize
d and characterized chemi cally by means of FT-IR and Raman spectrosco
py, microanalyses and thermal analyses. The X-ray diffraction crystal
analysis reveals the presence of the Keggin cluster, t-butylammonium c
ations and water molecules joined by means of electrostatic interactio
ns and hydrogen contacts. On the other hand, an electrochemical study
using cyclic voltammetry was carried out, showing reversible cathodic
