Jk. Hwang et al., IDENTIFICATION OF THE GAMMA-TRANSITIONS IN TC AND CS PRODUCTS OF CF-252 FISSION AND POSSIBLE 7 2(+)[413] BANDS IN TC105-109 ISOTOPES/, Physical review. C. Nuclear physics, 57(5), 1998, pp. 2250-2258
Several gamma transitions in Tc105-109 nuclei were identified for the
first time from spontaneous fission studies with a Cf-252 source and t
he Gammasphere. New level schemes are proposed and related to the unde
rlying nuclear structure. Positive parity bands with a large signature
splitting observed in Tc-105,Tc-107,Tc-109, evidently derived from g(
9/2) orbitals and are similar to analogous bands in Rh-103, Ag-103, an
d Y-99. New gamma transitions have also been identified in Cs139-143 a
nd used to construct level schemes for these isotopes. Correlated-pair
fission yields extracted from the data show an appreciable field for
the zero neutron Tc-109/Cs-143 pair. [S0556-2813(98)05205-4].
