Abstract
The phenomenon of cold (neutronless) alpha ternary fission in spontane ous fission of Cf-252 was experimentally observed by triple gamma coin cidence technique with Gammasphere with 72 gamma-ray detectors. Correl ated pairs of Kr-36-Nd-60, Sr-38-Ce-58, Zr-40-Ba-56, Mo-42-Xe-54, Ru-4 4-Te-52, and Pd-46-Sn-50 were observed to be associated with alpha ter nary fission of Cf-252. Yields of cold alpha ternary fission were extr acted.[S0556-2813(98)01005-X].
