Abstract
Predictions of the differential cross sections and spin observables of (p) over right arrow-(3) (H) over right arrow e scattering at 200 and 300 MeV have been made using a microscopic model of scattering in whi ch a complex, nonlocal optical potential is obtained in coordinate spa ce by full folding an effective two-nucleon interaction with nuclear s tructure obtained from a large basis shell model calculation. Good rep roduction of most data result but the need remains for a better shell model description of He-3. [S0556-2813(98)02805-2].
