Abstract
Some of the sophisticated components like pyrotechnic devices used in the launch vehicles and saatellites pose problems to screen them due t o their typical configuration in which the explosive charges are encas ed in heavy metallic enclosures. A special technique tried for the fir st time in India for the inspection of space components has been repor ted employing neutron radiography using accelerator based neutron gene rator and transfer imaging method.
