Kn. Pathak et al., BINARY COLLISION CONTRIBUTION TO THE LONGITUDINAL CURRENT CORRELATION-FUNCTION OF DENSE FLUIDS - NUMERICAL RESULTS, Physical review. E, Statistical physics, plasmas, fluids, and related interdisciplinary topics, 57(5), 1998, pp. 6195-6197
Numerical results are obtained for the binary collision contribution t
o the longitudinal stress correlation function of Lennard-Jones fluids
for a few selected densities and temperatures. It is found that the t
ime evolution of the correlation function cannot be approximated by a
simple, fast decaying function, like a Gaussian, at any thermodynamic
state.
