Abstract
Liquid-liquid equilibria of the ternary systems toluene-heptane-tetrae thylene glycol, toluene-heptane-N-formylmorpholine, toluene-heptane-(t etraethylene glycol + N-formylmorpholine), and toluene-heptane-(tetrae thylene glycol + N-methylpyrrolidone) have been determined at 40 degre es C. The capacity and selectivity data of the solvent systems were ob tained and compared. The data were correlated using Bachman, Othmer-To bias, and Hand models.
