Abstract
The workshop on ''Analysis of Pure Metals'' held at the conferences UH PM-94 (in Japan, Magi 1994) and UHPM-95 (in France, June 1995), and UH PM-96 (in Germany, September/October 1996) are briefly summarized, and problems suggested in these meetings are described.
