Isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium data for the system 2-methoxy-2-meth
ylbutane + methanol + water were determined at 101.32 kPa using a dist
illation apparatus recycling both liquid and vapor phases. The VLE dat
a were satisfactorily correlated using the Wilson, NRTL, and UNIQUAC e
quations for liquid phase activity coefficients and adequately predict
ed using the ASOG-KT, UNIFAC, UNIFAC-Dortmund, and UNIFAC-Lyngby group
contribution methods.
