Abstract
Evaporated carbon support films for transmission electron microscopy ( TEM) often contain fullerene-like structures such as nanotubes and nan oparticles. This could cause serious confusion in TEM studies of fulle rene-related carbons. Other, poorly graphitized, particles are also fr equently seen.
