Abstract
Abdominal aneurysms of the aorta mostly develop infrarenal by angioscl erosis. The detection of abdominal aneurysms with calcareous infiltrat ion or parietal thrombus by sonography will be successfull in thin pat ients without intestinal gas irritation. Duplex sonography shows the c irculated lumen, meanwhile computed tomography is used for the preoper ative localisation of renal arteries.
