Abstract
A sample of 802 year eleven pupils completed the Junior Eysenck Person ality Inventory together with Dommert's modification of the Rokeach Do gmatism Scale. The data confirm the view that neuroticism is the dimen sion of personality fundamental to individual differences in dogmatism , while extraversion is irrelevant to dogmatism.
