Abstract
A mathematical model of polymer adsorption from solution onto a planar surface is suggested. The kinetic model takes into account the adsorp tion and desorption rates as well as the rates of bond formation and d issociation between the macromolecule and the surface. The corresponde nce of this kinetic model to experimental data for polystyrene adsorpt ion onto a chromium surface from cyclohexane and replacement adsorptio n of protic polystyrene by deutero-polystyrene is shown, Some values o f the rate constant ratios are found.
