A quantum-percolation model is used to discuss experimental transport
properties of the YBa2Cu3-xLixO6.5+y and Bi2Sr2CaCu2-xLixO8+y supercon
ducting oxides. A cross-over from variable-range hopping conduction, i
n the insulating and semimetallic states, to Coulomb gap conduction in
the ''metallic'' state is observed. This provides evidence of the cor
related disorder-induced localized character of the unusual ''metallic
'' dependence of high-T-c superconductors.
