Abstract
The crystal structure of cholamide dihydrate (3 alpha,7 alpha,12 alpha -trihydroxy-5 beta-cholan-24-amide dihydrate, C24H41NO4.2H(2)O), recry stallized from ethyl acetate by slow evaporation, has been determined. This structure is the first reported crystal structure of cholamide s olvated solely with water.
