Abstract
By use of the powerful off-line combination of rapid, high-resolution overpressured-layer chromatography (OPLC) with the relatively high sen sitivity and rapidity of digital autoradiography (DAR), qualitative an d quantitative analysis of radiolabeled metabolites in biological samp les can usually be performed in hours. This simple and powerful new te chnique has been employed in drug metabolism research for rapid screen ing of metabolites of deramciclane (a new anxiolytic compound).
