TOPOLOGICAL INDEXES AND R-M VALUES FOR PREDICTION OF THE PK(A) VALUESOF ISOMERIC METHYLANILINES AND CHLOROANILINES - PART-XV

Sixteen isomeric methylanilines and chloroanilines have been separated by TLC on silica gel and on silica gel impregnated with manganese sal ts and the pK(a) values of the compounds have been correlated with R-M values and with the numerical values of topological indexes. Most acc urate prediction of the pK(a) values of the aniline derivatives invest igated was achieved by use of biparametric equations employing R-M val ues and the topological indexes degrees B or B-I.
