ON A NONQUANTUM DERIVATION OF PLANCKS DISTRIBUTION LAW

We prove that a correct nonquantum treatment of electromagnetic radiat ion leads to Planck's distribution (including zero-point energy). The only principles that we invoke are general invariance principles or, a lternatively, the impossibility of violating the second law at a macro scopic level.
