Abstract
One case of total splenic atrophy is reported in a patient with SS hom ozygous sickle-cell disease presenting no related malformation thus re calling the IVEMARK syndrome. An abdominal echography and computed tom ography are indispensable in order to confirm the absence of the anato mic spleen; this makes for a better follow-up of sickle-cell disease.
