Abstract
The spectra of Tl207-210 and Hg-207,Hg-208 are calculated in terms of the shell model with different interactions, The one-particle one-hole (1p-1h) excitation is taken into account for Tl-207 and Tl-208. The c alculated results for low-lying states agree with the available experi mental data very well, which shows that those effective interactions a re still valid to the nuclei such as Tl-208. Some levels of Tl-208,Tl- 209 whose spins and parties have not been determined in the experiment are predicted. The spectra of Hg-207 and Hg-208 are calculated and ca n be used to guide the feature experiments.
