Abstract
In the present communication, the authors report results on the charac terization of electrodeposited and selenized (CuInSe2) (CIS) thin film s, The selenization process was carried out using a technique called c hemical vapor transport by gas (CVTG). The precursors as well as selen ized films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning ele ctron microscopy (SEM) and electron microprobe analysis (EPMA). The fi lm stoichiometry improved after selenization at 550 degrees C. The fil ms were formed with a mixed composition of the binary as well as the t ernary phases. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
