Abstract
The responsivity of the series-connected Josephson array in the submil limeter wave region was analyzed by using the one-dimensional time-dep endent Ginzburg-Landau equation. From responsivity analysis, we found that the relative responsivity of the series-connected Josephson array decreased about 16 dB when the deviation of the normal resistance was 5% in the case of the 10 junctions series-connected array. It was als o found that the deviation of the normal resistance of each junction s hould be less than 1% in order to realize the Josephson coherent array . (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
