Abstract
Simple correlations between the bulk modulus (B), effective nuclear ch arge ((Z) over bar) and refrative index are given for compound and ter nary chalcopyrite semiconductors. Bulk modulus and electronic polariza bilities are evaluated. Results are in good agreement (+/- 15%) with e xperimental values. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
