P. Bahadur et M. Chand, STUDIES ON SODIUM DODECYL BENZENE SULFONATE IN THE PRESENCE OF ADDITIVES, Tenside, surfactants, detergents, 35(2), 1998, pp. 134-141
The micellar behaviour of the anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl benze
ne sulphonate (NaDBS), in different concentrations of methanol, propan
ol-1, butanol-1, butanol-2, t-butanol in water as well as in pure wate
r at 30 degrees C and also in 0.5 M alkanol-water systems within the r
ange of 30-45 degrees C has been measured followed by conductivity and
surface tension measurements. Various thermodynamic parameters have b
een evaluated.
