Abstract
The research presents an empirical test of a conceptual framework rega rding the relationships between a firm's logistics strategy, the organ izational design dimensions used to implement the strategy, and the pe rformance outcome experienced as a result of managers for manufacturin g firms confirms a relationship between organizational design and perf ormance. Additionally, the intermediary effects of integration on this relationship are confirmed. The hypothesized relationship between str ategic choice and organizational design was not confirmed.
