Abstract
The AC-AIP method may be successfully used to apply a multicomponent T iAIN coating on instrument-steel parts. The coating is characterized b y hardness, good ductility, and skin resistance. AC-AIP is the best pr ocess for applying a TiAIN coating. The coating is very promising for nide use in engineering.
