Abstract
The dynamical density functional equation put forth recently in an att empt to go beyond the current mode coupling theories of supercooled li quid and glass transitions is solved by mapping to the kinetic lattice gas model. Analyses of the dynamic structure factor in the initial st age of freezing reveal that the equation correctly captures the mode c oupling mechanism of density fluctuations.
