Abstract
The published data relating to breast implants and a variety of diseas es are reviewed. The evidence currently available suggests that silico ne implants are not responsible for the development of any systemic di sorder. Implants do leak silicone and can cause local problems, The te rrorization of the breast implant population is discussed and criticiz ed.
