Abstract
From the whole plant of Vanda tessalata, a new phenanthropyran derivat ive was isolated. Its structure was elucidated as ,7-dihydroxy-2-metho xy-9,10-dihydrophenanthropyran on the basis of spectroscopic data. Thi s is the first report of a phenanthropyran with a 2,3,7-substitution p attern. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
