Abstract
From the whole plant of Aerides crispum, a new phenanthropyran derivat ive was isolated. Its structure was elucidated as ihydroxy-1,3-dimetho xy-9,10-dihydrophenanthropyran on the basis of spectroscopic data. Thi s is the first report of phenanthropyran from A. crispum.
