Abstract
We report a case of a large epicardial lipoma associated with an unusu al rupture of an infarcted interventricular septum. The proximity of t he attachment of the lipoma to the rupture site, together with the unu sual shape and location of the rupture, suggest that the lipoma perpet rated the rupture.
