Abstract
The comparison decrement method is generalised to apply in both time-d omain and frequency-domain analysis. Experimental results are presente d to verify. The sensitivity of Q-factor measurements can be improved by using the differential averaging technique. High-Q ceramic material s Ba3ZnTa2-xNbxO9, Ba3MgTa2-xNbxO9 and Ba3Zn1-xMgxT2O9 and also the Sr 3ZnTa2-xNbxO9, Sr3MgTa2-xNbxO9, Sr3Zn1-xMgxT2O9 family are measured an d introduced.
