Abstract
Copolymers of p-and m-aminostyrenes with methyl methacrylate were prep ared, and the copolymerization constants and the parameters of the mic rostructure of these copolymers were determined. The rate of polymer-a nalogous transformations of these copolymers in reactions with substit uted benzaldehydes was studied in relation to the length of the active blocks of aminostyrene units and the nature of substituent in the ald ehyde.
