Pt. Murphy et al., LYMPHOMA ASSOCIATED BONE-MARROW NECROSIS WITH RAISED ANTICARDIOLIPIN ANTIBODY, Journal of Clinical Pathology, 51(5), 1998, pp. 407-409
A case of high grade B cell lymphoma presented with bone marrow necros
is, followed by development of extensive marrow fibrosis, the evolutio
n of which was documented by serial magnetic resonance imaging and bon
e marrow trephine histology. A markedly raised anticardiolipin antibod
y titre at diagnosis suggests that lymphoma associated antiphospholipi
d syndrome may have contributed to the aetiology of the bone marrow ne
crosis.
