Abstract
In this paper, we present the design and implementation of an integrat ed fuzzy logic controller (IFLC) for a DC-servomotor system. The propo sed strategy is intended to improve the performance of the original co ntrol system by use of a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) as the motor loa d changes. Both computer simulation and experimental implementation de monstrate that IFLC is particularly effective in position control of a DC-servomotor under shaft frictional load, inertia disk load and mixe d frictional/inertial load conditions. A stability verification proced ure for the integrated fuzzy logic control system is also provided. (C ) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
